Graduate programs are available to full-time students, or working professionals who are interested in part-time study. Many programs are also offered online.

More than 3,000 students from across the country and around the world are engaged in graduate study each year at NJIT. NJIT currently offers about 50 master's degree programs, 19 doctoral degree programs, and dozens of graduate certificate programs in a wide range of technological specialties through the following colleges and schools:

• Newark College of Engineering
• Hillier College of Architecture and Design
• Jordan Hu College of Science and Liberal Arts  
• Martin Tuchman School of Management
• Ying Wu College of Computing

NJIT also offers the following program options:

• Accelerated programs where some courses double count toward two degrees 
  • BS-MS & BS-PhD program options
  • MS-MS & MS-MBA program options
• Collaborative doctorate program (for working professionals)

Professional options are also available in some master's degree programs. Some of these options are affiliated with the PSM (Professional Science Master's) National Office.
