Design plays an essential role across a wide range of industries and disciplines, shaping the objects, images, environments, and experiences that define everyday life. At the core of the curriculum are visual communication, creative problem-solving, and design thinking, which together balance aesthetics, analysis, and practical application. The minor introduces foundational design principles and historical context, while giving students the flexibility to pursue areas of design most relevant to their interests and academic fields.
